Well, here it is - the last entry in my 12 Days of Christmas Card Inspiration!
This is the 'closed' card:
And this is the 'opened' card:
And here it is again from another angle:
To make this card, start with a 12 X 12 piece of card-stock. Cut it to 5.5 X 12, then score along the long side at 2, 4, 8 & 10 inches. Then cut a line 1.5 inches from each long end from the 2-inch score line to the 10-inch score line. You will now have 13 panels of various sizes to decorate. When folding, bend the middle panel section in the opposite direction of the bend in the outer panel sections to achieve the accordion effect.
I hope you have enjoyed my 12 Days of Christmas Card Inspiration! I have certainly enjoyed doing it, and it has given me a wonderful head-start on my card-making for the Season. Now, just to decide on my favourites and reproduce them ;-)
Cheers!
I love your cards! Just wondering where you get the paper, stamps etc. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for saying! I really appreciate it :-)
ReplyDeleteMost of my products are from Stampin' Up. They are a direct mail company - http://www.stampinup.com. Email me if you are interested (happystamper AT bellaliant.net)- they have preferred pricing via a demonstrator....
