Recall - Home Depot Shag Rug

The following recall notice is from HSW:

Event Hightlights

Health Canada reports of a recall involving "Carpet Art Deco" brand rug of the Shag Rug Montana Collection. This rug could easily catch fire if exposed to a flame or other ignition source such as a lighter, match, candle, stove element or spark from a fireplace, posing a burn risk and fire hazard to consumers.

Recalled rugs were sold exclusively at certain Home Depot stores across Canada  from December 2010 to May 2011.

Corrective Action:Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled rugs and return them to the Home Depot store where the rugs were purchased to receive a full refund. Consumers may also get in touch with the manufacturer directly.
