So, the weather forecast this weekend is for rain, and more rain followed by RDF, with a chance of sun on Sunday but only if we all keep our fingers crossed religiously now until then..... BUT the fun forecast is for the Busker's Festival!Have you ever been down to the Busker's Festival? We take the imps every year. It is a wonderful time to enjoy the atmosphere downtown - take a stroll, pop in and out of stores, go on a 'mermaid hunt', and take in a few busker performances in between! It starts on Friday and ends Sunday with performances every half hour from 1:00 -9:30PM, and you can view the pdf schedule here.

If that is not your thing, there are plenty of movies this weekend for children of all ages: Winnie the Pooh, The Smurfs, Transformers, Harry Potter, Captain America, Cars 2 and Zookeeper are all playing and sure to entertain someone in your household ;-). We've been to see the last two (Cars and Zookeeper) and both had my 6 & 8 years olds in knots! Showtimes can be found here.
Another option for some family fun: Lester's Farm. take the kids to the petting zoo and u-pick strawberries and enjoy some ice cream on the front deck before heading home ;-). Visit their Facebook page for a daily update on u-pick availability.
And, of course, the Lunchtime Concerts, SBTS Festival, Family Fun days all continue with their regular schedules this weekend - check out my calendar for details!

Have a good one ;-)
For details on events in & around town, check my events calendar regularly - it is on the bottom of EVERY page :-) The Tely Go Guide published in Arts & Life section every Thursday is also a good source.
If you have something to add to the Calendar, please let me know! Complete details can be found here and I welcome being added to any "Events Distribution list" your facility might have :-)
