April 26, 2012 - Recalled Whoozit Starry Time baby Rattle poses a choking hazard
Health Canada and the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission report of a recall involving Whoozit® Starry Time Rattle. The clear spheres on each end of the rattle can break when dropped onto hard surfaces, resulting in small parts, posing a choking hazard to young children. See Product Details tab for specifics on the affected items. Manhattan Group has received 2 reports of rattles breaking. Recalled rattles were sold at various specialty toy and baby stores and online at manhattantoy.com in Canada from September 2011 to March 2012. Corrective Action:Consumers should immediately take the rattle away from children and return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
