Health Canada reports of a recall involving GlowMate Jr. Play Light by MOBI. Testing by Health Canada of these portable night lights has revealed that the battery door can come open during use, releasing the "AAA" batteries. These small parts can pose a choking hazard to young children and are hazardous if ingested.

Health Canada has received one incident report related to this product. The child released the battery door and attempted to ingest one of the batteries. No permanent injuries were sustained.
Sold at: various retailers across Canada from November 2010 to June 2012.
Corrective Action:
Consumers should immediately stop using the GlowMate Jr. Play light and return it to the place of purchase for store credit or a refund, depending on store policy.
