Recall - Ardene Glam Collection Fairy Pendant

The following recall notice is from HSW:

Highlights | Hazard | Exposure | Products | Sources Health Canada reports of a recall involving Ardene Glam Collection Fairy Pendant. Health Canada's sampling and testing program revealed that the pendant contains lead in excess of allowable limits. In addition, the pendant contains cadmium in excess of guidance levels proposed recently by Health Canada. See HSW Products tab for specifics on the affected items. Lead and cadmium are toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects. See Hazard tab for more information. Recalled pendants were sold  across Canada from July 2012 to September 2012. Corrective Action:Consumers should immediately take the recalled jewellery away from children and dispose of the item in their regular household waste.
