What To Do This Weekend - Head to Lester's for PUMPKINFEST!

There has been a chill to the night air of late.... that's one sure sign that the seasons are changing! The other big sign: Lester's Farm Market's PUMPKINFEST is HERE!!!! (Happy Dance!). Head over on Saturday to get some pumpkins, visit with he animals and enjoy the festive atmosphere, music and contests. The City of St. John's has even arranged a free shuttle service to and from Lester's Farm to lessen the parking hassles (shuttle is from Newfoundland Hydro parking lot off Captain Whelan Drive)! NOTE: due to weather forecast, PumpkinFest has been rescheduled to Oct. 20th (per Lester's Farm Market Facebook page).

Round out your weekend on Sunday with a visit to The Rooms for their latest Family Fun Program: this week's theme is Nature and Art. Children will explore how artist Susan Wood incorporates the natural world in her exhibition Earth Skins and participate in a still life art project.
