12 Days of Christmas Card Inspiration - Day 7

For today's card, I am showing you my entry for this week's "Card Pattern's" sketch (#88). I liked the simplicity and clean lines of the sketch:

This card uses Whisper White, Marina Mist and Real Red card-stock and Marina Mist ink (all Stampin' Up colours, papers and images). I used the Petals-a-plenty Sizzix texture die for the background. I like that the card is not symmetrical and yet the colours/tone are balanced just the same. And, I think the lower red stripe really makes the text "Joy" stand out!
