Today's card was sparked by my cousin's request: she asked me to create a card for her to give out that could hold a photo.
It is one of the most simple, easy cards I believe I have ever tried: I simply cut out a 5 1/2" X 4 1/4" piece of red card-stock and then centred it on the Top Note Die to get the negative space. Next I pasted it to a piece of 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 white card-stock folded over to create a standard size card. I used the scallop circle punch with the Christmas stamp from "So Many Scallops" to use as an accent - you could use just about anything (ornament, square punch, oval, etc.).
The red card-stock is a sparkly one... however, if you have a smooch spritz or a shimmer spray you could use any regular red card-stock and spray the shimmer on it before affixing it to the white.
I can't wait to see my cousin's family photo in this card!
