Wow! We are on Day 9 already! Christmas will be here before you know it (in 51 days to be exact). Did you see the snow this AM? WOOT!!
Today's card is easy-peasy, quietly elegant, and whips up in a matter of minutes:
I used Very Vanilla card-stock to create the card, and layered Crumb Cake on top of it. This gives a soft feel to the background. For the ornaments, I used my go-to stamp with the punch for one, and for the other, I just used the punch to cut out an ornament from co-ordinating designer paper (sponged red ink around the edges for added definition). I "suspended" the ornaments from golden cord and put an olive green bow on one. I think the simplicity of the "Merry Christmas" script fits in very well with the overall tone of this card.
You could easily re-produce this card in just about any Christmas colour combination and it would be lovely. Or, go for the dramatic and use black and silver! Wouldn't THAT be amazing?
Have fun!!
