Recall - Orange aPEEL Citrus Concentrate Organic Cleaners

Event Hightlights

Health Canada reports of a recall involving Orange aPEEL Citrus Concentrate Organic Cleaners. Products do not meet the warning labelling and child-resistant closure requirements, and pose an aspiration hazard.

Recalled products were sold at Loblaws stores, Pet Valu and independent pet, and health food stores across Canada from 2000 to November 2010.

Corrective Action:Consumers should immediately stop using the products and return them to the place of purchase for a replacement label and a child resistant cap. After the replacement label and/or child resistant cap is received and affixed on the product, the product can be used safely again. Consumers who do not wish to return the products should dispose of them according to Municipal Hazardous Waste Guidelines.
