HSW:
Health Canada reports of a recall involving the Step2 Basic Rhythms Xylophone toy. Surface paints on some of the coloured keys of the Xylophone contain lead above the allowable limit.

Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects. See Hazard Details tabfor more information.
Affected xylophones were sold at retail outlets across Canada from December 2010 to October 2011.
Corrective Action:Consumers should immediately take the affected Xylophone away from children and Contact Step2 to obtain further information on product replacement. Consumers who do not wish to return the product should dispose of it in their regular household garbage.
