Event Hightlights

Health Canada reports of a recall involving heart shaped pendants and plastic plug bracelets by Toy Land Company. The recalled pieces of jewellery contain lead in excess of the allowable limit.

Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects. See Hazard Details tab for more information.

Recalled necklaces were sold in Canada from 2006 to 2011. .

Corrective Action:Consumers should immediately take the recalled jewellery away from children and dispose of them. Consumers are asked to contact their municipality for instructions on disposing items containing lead.
