Sunday Snippets

Tidbits of information I picked up this week:

• Cookies & milk... few things are more perfect, so long as you manage to a) get the cookie sufficiently wet and b) manage to take it out of the milk before it becomes a soggy, crumbly mess. Too bad there isn't a formula for that! Oh wait - there is!! .... L squared = yDt/4n.... or about a 3.5 to 5 second dunk if you don't wanna do the math ;-) (Wired magazine, Nov. 2011)
• Wanna look younger? Spritz on a perfume with pink grapefruit..... which will cause others to guess your age to be an average of 8 years less than it actually is... go figure :-S (Woman's Day, January 2012)
• To reduce pain from a canker sore, my Mom always recommended a raisin, but my little guy doesn't like that. So next time, I'll try this tip from an Oct 2004 issue of Woman's Day - coat the canker sore with honey!
