Health Canada reports of a recall involving bunk beds by Monarch Specialities Inc. The wooden side rails that run from the headboard to the footboard and hold the bunk bed's mattress in place can split and cause the bunk bed to collapse, posing a fall hazard to consumers.

▲Health Canada has received one report of the side rails cracking or breaking, which lead to minor bruises and abrasions.

Sold at: various stores across Canada from November 2009 to July 2011. 
Corrective Action:
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled bunk bed and return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
