Recall - "Papa Bear Loungeabouts" Children's Pyjamas and Sleepwear

Health Canada reports of a recall involving "Papa Bear Loungeabouts" Children's Pyjamas and Sleepwear.  Once ignited the sleepwear can burn rapidly and cause severe burns to large areas of the child's body, resulting in shock and sometimes death.

Possible Canadian retailers of this product are unknown as the importer is no longer in business. The recalled product has been available through on-line sales since 2004. Retail sales period in Canada is unknown.

Corrective Action:Consumers should stop using the sleepwear immediately.

For more information, consumers are advised to please contact the retailer from whom they purchased the recalled sleepwear.
