Hope you are all enjoying Easter Week with your Peeps as much as I am enjoying it with mine ;-)
Just popping in with two new activities I just found out about:
- Toonie Matinees are back at Mt. Pearl Square for Easter Break! That's right - each admission (child or adult) is only $2. You have the option of Chipwrecked or We Bought a Zoo. Both are playing weekdays (3:50 and 3:30 respectively). Only until Friday!
- I received this email from Andreae at FEASt, and since I can't say it any better myself, here's the important stuff from her email (I have it added to the calendar too): I wanted to let you know about the event FEASt is having this Saturday at City Hall - it's our annual FEASt Fest, which is a celebration of seeds, soil, and local foods. There will be presentations and a panel discussion on gardening, plus a seed swap and a magazine swap, and a tasty, healthy lunch. Anne Madden from the MUN Botanical Garden will be doing children's activities. It's a really great opportunity to learn about local food growing, and there will be plenty of people there who have experience gardening with children.
