Made-it Monday

Woot! It is my one-week blog-i-versary! So far, so good, I think - I am having fun and that's the main thing, right? I do have a confession for those of you who tried to leave a comment: I had the settings done wrong! I do believe that I have it fixed now though, so please, if the mood strikes to leave a comment, then fire away!

Today, for the first time, I entered 2 card challenges. The first card is for Card Patterns Sketch 83:


This is such a versatile stamp set from Stampin'Up (Lovely as a Tree). Especially this time of year! I knew I wanted to use it as soon as I saw the sketch. To see other entries, check out:

And the second card I made today is for Pals Paper Arts - PPA61:


As you can tell, I just love this particular shade of blue with the chocolate chip cardstock! The olive green on the first lends it a masculine vibe, while the rose coloured strip on the second gives it a lady-like feel. The other entries for this challenge can be seen at the following site:
