What To Do This Weekend - Holiday Fun!

First of all, an apology for the delayed posting - one of those weeks as I believe I mentioned before! I did want to give you some ideas for your weekend though, so here's a quick look at some options for your weekend fun!

Getting into the Spirit of the Season is a big theme around the City: If you missed the St. John's Parade last week, then head over to the Mount Pearl Christmas Parade on Saturday morning at 10. It starts at the high schools on Ruth Ave and ends at Mt. Pearl Square. Later in the day, the Lights will be lit at the Bowring Park Duck Pond at 4:30 - bring your kids for hot chocolate and to listen to the choirs as you walk through the trees!

If you have some shopping to do, drop the kids off at Parent's Survival Night at the Little Gym - this week's theme is "Winter Camping".

Why not take in a performance? I was intrigued by the dancers from "Murmel, Murmel, Mortimer, Munsch" at the parade last week - I think the play, running this weekend through the 19th at the Basement Theatre of the A&C, promises to be a hit! Or, for Seasonal Entertainment, check out  "Scrooge" at the Arts & Culture Centre (tonight and tomorrow at 7:30 PM).

Happy Hanukkah (Dec 1-9) to my Jewish readers! I'd love to hear about any celebrations in town :-)

Have a great weekend everyone.

For details on events in & around town, check my calendar regularly! It is on the bottom of every page, or click Events Calendar in the navigation bar :-)
