There is a fair bit on for kids before the weekend (hmmmm.... maybe summer is in the air ;-), so I thought I would just remind you of a few events:
Clay Cafe is gearing up for a busy week - Wednesday they have part two (painting) of the Raw Clay Coil Cupcake Boxes Class and you can join Sadie Jane there Thursday night for a cool Soap Carving class! Both for ages 7-12 and registration is usually required in advance. See Clay Cafe website in sidebar for details.
Have a date night this week? If so, how about making it for Thursday evening and heading to the Anna Templeton's Taste of Italy Fundraiser Dinner? I don't know about you, but I find it hard to resist Italian!!! That must have been what they were thinking ;-) Doors open at 6:30 and dinner will be served at 7 - details in the calendar.
And, on Friday - the first full day of Summer vacation! - the family can join Terry Rielly at Bannerman Park for the annual Teddy Bear Picnic (12 noon)... always fun! Or, if the weather is not cooperating, check out Where in the Library is Freida the Frog?, an on-going event at the Michael Donovan Library on Topsail Rd - if the kids find her they can enter their names to win a prize!
Have a great week!
