What To Do This Weekend - Party with the Fam!

Ya gotta love summer! There is a slew of things going on this weekend for you & the family.... starting with the Kelligrews Soiree, which kicks off tonight with Terry Rielly at Topsail Beach! Over the next few days there will be family activities (including Sky High Amusements and many Singers and Entertainers), Races (Watch Your Bobber, Kids Box Car, 8K Road Race, etc.), a scavenger hunt, cook-out and many, many more activities. See calendar or click here for the schedule of events.

Best Buy is now open on Stavanger Drive and are celebrating their Grand Opening with a Family Festival all weekend! Kids have the opportunity to meet Spiderman, and there will be live musical performances by local artists, free popcorn, cotton candy, games, pancake breakfasts and more in the carnival themed event. Again, you can visit the calendar, or click here for details and schedule of performances.

If you are a Shakespeare By The Sea fan, Twelfth Night and Above and Below start this Sunday. Visit their website for complete details of locations and performance times.

Crafty? Then head over to The Paperie for a free card make & take on Saturday. There are also craft programs at the Rooms every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon for July and August, daily programs on the half hour at The Fluvarium, and the weekend family events at MUN Botanical Gardens to take in - which allow for craftiness and nature wrapped in one :-) And, if you need to cool off, you can get the St. John's outdoor pool schedule here on Access St. John's.

Enjoy your weekend! And wear Sunscreen!

For details on events in & around town, check my events calendar regularly - it is on the bottom of EVERY page :-) The Tely Go Guide published in Arts & Life section every Thursday is also a good source.

If you have something to add to the Calendar, please let me know! Complete details can be found here and I welcome being added to any "Events Distribution list" your facility might have :-)
