Eight Weeks 'til Christmas

Seven oops... Eight Weeks 'til Christmas....

Wow! Where is the time going?! I don't know about you, but I only have a scattering of Christmas Planning done thus far. Here's the plan for this week, then, to get things moving along:
  • Review Christmas card list...
  • Determine design/stamp set for this year's cards...
  • Gather supplies to make cards...
  • Final version of gift list with amounts per person...
  • Check gift wrap stash from last year, be on the hunt for any extra if needed...
  • Check calendar and plan a couple of shopping days...
  • Keep eye out for unusual stocking stuffers everywhere I go!
  • Book Christmas hair and beauty appointments ;-)
  • Book carpet cleaning etc (thankfully, I already have the house cleaner booked - priorities, People! ;-)
  • Confirm "the usual" plans for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day... etc.
  • Anything else we want to do over Christmas?
  • Aim to get online shopping done within the next 2 weeks to allow for delivery...
  • Determine if any gifts will be handmade...
  • Get supplies for handmade gifts...
  • Start crafting!
  • Children - get them to weed out toys for charity as they plan their Christmas letters to Santa (I find this is a great time of year for children to sort through their "gently used" toys to pass along to those in need!).

  5. thank you @ petit cadeau and @simply you for letting us know (and to you Deanne for pointing out my math error on FB ;-)
As for upholstery cleaners I use Sears usually, but would be open to suggestions if others know of a good, reliable resource!

  6. Who do you get to clean your house? We used Executive Cleaners and were not impressed. It's what I ask for for every occasion :)
