What To Do This Weekend - Have a Day out with the Kids and Dog!

Happy Thursday! Only one more sleep till the weekend - don't know about you, but I certainly need it! I am still adjusting to back-to-school...looking forward to a PD day soon :-)

Last weekend, I popped in to the ARTFUSION Festival. It was amazing... so much on the go: a craft room, sound room, local artists and performers of all kinds (musicians, hula-hoops, belly dancing, flamenco dancing)! If you didn't get there, don't despair: you can go next year :-) ARTFUSION continues through the weekend with more great events like Theatre Games and Crafertnoon for Kids  - visit http://www.aamp.ca/artfusion-schedule/ for a complete run-down of the remaining events.

Sunday brings us the famous Rubber Duck Race, Clovelly Stables Family Sundays (pony rides!!) and MQP Family Fun Day. Also check out the 12th Annual Greyhound Picnic and Fun Day - bring the kids and the dogs (any breed). There will be a Silent Auction, a Bake Sale & a BBQ, plus Face Painting and Balloons, a Bouncy Castle  and... get this... nail trimming for your dog! ....Sounds like they have everything covered to me ;-)
