Imagine, in a few short years, it will be the 100th anniversary of the beginning of WWI. I would like to think we have become more united as a planet in that time, more aware, more understanding. I hope we are progressing towards a time when wars of any kind will no longer be necessary, a time when human sacrifice is not called upon to ensure the protection of others, to ensure Peace.
I often think how fortunate we are to have been born where we were: how pure luck gave us this country and not another! How much we owe to those who sacrificed their time, their youth and their lives for justice, freedom, and peace! Thank you to all veterans for what you have done!
