Frosty Festival - Updates and Rescheduled Events

The following announcement was just received from the Frosty Festival Team pertaining to changes/additions to the published schedule for the next few days (questions or inquiries can be directed to Sarah at the Frosty Festival Office at 748-6480, or visit www.frostyfestival.ca):

Here's the complete list of changes and/or additions to the Frosty Festival schedule for this weekend. Updates on the events that were postponed on Sunday, February 6, are included:

Special Olympics Valentine's Party 
The event has been rescheduled for this Saturday, February 12, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, at O'Donel High School.

Costume Skating Party
The event has been rescheduled for this Sunday, February 13, from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm, at the Glacier. Children ages 3 to 7 will skate from 3:30 pm to 4:15 pm, and children ages 8 to 10 will skate from 4:15 pm to 5:00 pm.

Rogers Family Skating
The event has been rescheduled for this Sunday, February 13, from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm, at the Glacier.

Frosty Family Fun Day
The event has been moved to the Mount Pearl Intermediate Playground. It will still run from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 12. There will be snowmobile rides, snowshoeing, sliding, snow games and hot chocolate.

Irish Pub Night
The event will be rescheduled for late February or early March. All tickets will be honored at the rescheduled event. Those who have tickets, and would like to have their names entered in the draw for the Grand Prize for the Frosty Festival, can fill out their stubs and drop them off at the Frosty Festival Office by 5:00 pm on Friday, February 11. Ticket holders are asked to hold on to the remainder of their tickets, however, as these will be required for admission to the rescheduled event.
