Small Changes Challenge - 6/50

This week, I went back to challenging only myself (though the Club Penguin Bathroom Challenge is still alive and going well with Mario and Toad). My challenge was to add in another 8-minute march daily. I chose this as I find the 8 minutes quite manageable in the mornings....that, and I tried a couple of time to increase it to 10 minutes and it didn't pan out. Those two extra minutes really do make a difference!

I decided I'd work in the second march between 3 - 3:30. The bus usually arrives by 3:30, and I always make sure I am home by 3, out of some strange paranoia that the sky will fall and the bus will arrive a half hour early :-). Paranoid or not, my routine puts me in the same spot at that time of the day everyday - it wouldn't be too drastic of a change!

How am I doing? Well, I did miss one day - the first one of all things! I really got off to a good start there, huh? But, things have been working very well since - I've managed it every day the rest of the week. Plus, with my other challenges, even when I scored only a 2 or 3 out of 5 in the first week, they did end up "sticking" in the following weeks, so I am not too worried.

And - a side note here - I could swear the marching first thing has given me more energy! I seem to have more "pep in my step" throughout the day... perhaps I'll become a night owl with this second addition ;-)
