Excellent weekend coming folks - there is so much to do around the City over the next few days! Here is a breakdown of my top picks, and don't forget, the complete calendar listings are at the bottom of this and every page :-)
Outdoors - Head over to the Fluvarium for Animal Tracks (1:30 Sat. & Sun), then go sledding down that big hill at Pippy Park! Or go snow-shoeing through the forest! Edit/update: Winterlude is this weekend as well - at Bowring Park, tons of activities, 1-4PM on the 6th!
Indoors - Check out Feed the Birds Family Fun at The Rooms and make a bird feeder out of a milk carton, or take the family Skating at Mile One (Sunday, 2PM). Motor-sport enthusiasts may enjoy Evolution Action Sports (Sat., 6 PM, Mile One), which features Freestyle Motocross and Snowcross riders displaying aerial acrobatics!
All Around Mt Pearl - this weekend marks the kick-off of the annual Mt Pearl Frosty Festival. This event always delivers on their promise to provide tons of family fun! I can't possibly do them justice here - click on the link to the Frosty Festival Events Booklet in the sidebar (top-right).
Date Night - Why not go see Scorched, presented by Beothuck Street Theatre group at the Arts & Culture Centre? It promises tto be another amazing play!
