Anna Templeton is offering several Art classes for children this winter: ARTrageous – 5-8 years; Budding Artists -3-5 years; Cartoons & Comic Books – 10 years +; Art Stars - 9 years & up; Sketching, Drawing & Painting – 12-17 years; and Sewing Stars for ages 9+. most programs run for 8 weeks and meet on either Saturdays or Sundays, starting this weekend. And, Clay Cafe has a 6 week children's drawing class session starting this January 23rd (for ages 6-11). Topics to be covered include:
- how to see shapes in objects and to put those shapes in drawings
- basics of proportion, practice putting shapes and proportion together.
- shading, techniques and different styles of drawing.
- basics of people,expressions, animals and seeing the possibilities.
- color, tone and contour
- setting a composition
