What To Do This Weekend - Take in a Show, Head to a Festival

Well folks, there is so much on lately, it is hard to even begin to write it up, if that makes any sense at all!

I'm sure you know by now that Shakespeare By The Sea has performances throughout the week, including on the weekends. this weekend marks the debut of the The Curious Case in the Colony: A Sherlock Holmes Adventure, playing Sundays and Mondays @ 8 pm now until August 22 at the Newman Wine Vaults!

Another performance to take in: Makin' Time with the Yanksdirected by Mary Walsh,  tells the story of a culture clash between Yanks and Newfs, their romantic entanglements, in a "musical comedy" kind of way. On now until the 24th at the LSPU Hall.

Looove your garden? Take in the Floral Art Show at MUN Botanical Garden Saturday and Sunday afternoon.  Make it a family outing by combining it with their wonderful Sunday afternoon family programs!

Oh, right! The Kids! Never fear - Mount Pearl City Days are on all weekend and include an outdoor showing of Gnomeo and Juliette on Friday evening, a Family Fun Day at Power’s Pond from 11:00am-3:00pm on Saturday (children’s and main stage entertainment, roaming buskers, milk carton boat races, coloring murals, canoe rides, duck egg races, and more!), a Classic Car & Motorcycle Show at St. David’s Field from 2:00-4:00pm Saturday and an all day concert on Sunday at St. David's Field. Click here for complete details and other scheduled events.
