Health Canada and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) report of a recall involving Baby Jogger City VersaTM Strollers. The stroller frame can fail to lock in place and collapse while in use, posing a fall hazard to children in the stroller. Baby Jogger has received 6 reports from consumers and retailers in the United States. The first incident occurred on August 21, 2012. All of the incidents involve reports of the stroller's folding mechanism not functioning. There have been no reports of any injuries.
Sold at: juvenile product stores nationwide and online from July 2012 through October 2012 for about $450. Corrective Action: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Baby Jogger City Versa Stroller and contact Baby Jogger for a free replacement stroller frame.
